New Look crop top, jacket & scarf // ASOS skirt & handbag // Thomas Sabo jewellery // Chockers shoes // Marc by Marc Jacobs sunnies
Bonjour :) how are you this sunny Sunday? I've gone a bit overboard with the outfit snaps again but this is what I wore yesterday. I decided to brave the crop top trend with this bandeau from New Look. The high waisted pencil skirt hides a multitude of sins and means that only the slimmest part of my midriff was on show! This look was all over the catwalks this season, from Prada to House of Holland. If you're still not convinced, check out this post on Diamond Solitaire for some serious crop top inspiration, love it! I'm also sporting my brand new Lita look-a-likes from Chockers and used my lemon bowler bag to brighten the outfit and give it more of a lady-like feel (as opposed to the belly-bearing hussy look). I think there's a bit of a 60's vibe going on. What do you think? Will you be showing off your midriff to the world this summer?
Every 6 weeks I get a long weekend off work and this weekend is mine. The boyfriend and I decided to make the most of our Saturday off together and went on a wee road trip up the east coast of Scotland. I was a bit optimistic with my outfit, it was dull and foggy at home, but my optimism paid off - it was 18 degrees up there! We drove through a few pretty villages, stopped in Banff for lunch at Duff House (but left because it was too busy), went to the Spotty Bag Shop (what a disappointment! haha), got ice-cream in Cullen (yum!) and visited the aquarium in Macduff.
The lovely Steph from Nerd About Town has kindly allowed me to do a guest post over on her blog, check it out! The girl has amazing photography skills!
Hope you're all having a great weekend! I'm away to get my bake on so look out for Chocolate Philadelphia Cheesecakes coming to a blog near you! ;)
