Lavish Alice peace leggings // Miso dip hem dress from Republic // New Look denim jacket // Chockers shoes // Marc by Marc Jacobs sunnies // Dorothy Perkins cuff bracelets // Eclectic Eccentricity T-Rex earrings
I've been dying to show these pictures since I took them on Saturday, hello new favourite outfit! These epic peace print leggings arrived from Lavish Alice on Friday (Thursday but I missed the postie!) and I'm obsessed. They're slightly baggy around the knee but I think that's just cause of my chicken legs! I ordered them in a S/M (I'm usually a 10/12 in bottoms) and other than the knee issue they fit perfectly. Luckily they go great with this pretty lace dip hem dress that I picked up in Republic last Monday. Another new obsession! I've styled it with the leggings for a casual shopping/dog walking day but think it would look just as good dressed up with heels and bare legs on a night out! I'll probably team it with my mint ASOS accessories (see here) next time I'm out. I'm also wearing my amazing new (thats a lot of new, can you tell pay day arrived?) T-Rex earrings from Eclectic Eccentricity but more about them in a later post!
I have a million photos to show you from Saturday. It wasn't a particularly exciting day but I just like the random photos and feel like sharing. On Saturday morning I headed through to Aberdeen with my sister for the Candy Belle Vintiques vintage fair. There was a good variety of stalls on show, including the lovely Ginger Pickle, with a mix of items for sale. From jewellery to cushions, handbags to typewriters, and obviously a few clothes rails filled with little treasures. I didn't actually buy anything (although the 1980s Polaroid camera was tempting) but it was so nice to see something different in Aberdeen. It was so busy when we were there we probably didn't have as good a rake as we could of. A bigger area would of been better to host the amount of stalls they had and allow people to have a proper look at everything that was on offer. But then considering it was their 1st fair and they couldn't really predict the turn out I'd say it was a success! Hopefully it's the 1st of many!
My sister and I had a wonder round the shops and 'farmers market' in Aberdeen before stopping at TGI's for lunch and my favourite strawberry daquiris! I've already overloaded with photos so I'll share the rest from the beach in the next post :)
Did anyone else go to the Candy Belle Vintiques fair? Did you enjoy it?
