Lets swim to the moon, lets climb through the tide...

As I mentioned in my last post, I got my hair done on Thursday... goodbye awful roots! I'm pretty pathetic when it comes to hair & make-up so I'm always chuffed after a trip to the hairdressers. How can they make my hair look so good when I can't even make it look half decent in a morning? It's funny how much a good hair day boosts your confidence too! I'd quite like to keep my hairdresser in my pocket so I can take her out & make her do my hair every day...
Primark dress // River Island boots // H&M jacket // Dorothy Perkins earrings

I'm wearing the absolute beaut of a dress I picked up in Glasgow's Primark last week! I've seen it all over the internet & in loads of magazines but could never find it in my local Primark. But at last it is mine!! I am completely in love with it - Mary Katrantzou is one of my favourite designers but seeing as I'll never be able to afford her designs, Primark's £17 version will have to suffice! The quality of the material and print is impressive considering the price tag. The only downside is that I had to take a size 8 (I'm usually a 10) as they only had an 8 or 14+. So it's a little tight around the chest area but hey I guess that's my fault, not theirs!

I've dressed it down here with black tights, chelsea boots & my H&M biker for a trip to the cinema with my boyfriend. For a night out I'd probably keep it simple with plain heels & a clutch. I've kept to minimal accessories here as well as the dress is loud enough!
[We went to see Ice Age 4... if you're childish and like a giggle, go see it!]

  1. That dress is sooo pretty. Im being treated later as a belated birthday present, may have to just pop in ;)

Your not alone with that hairdresser feeling. I go in looking disgusting, watch her with a magnifying glass, come out looking presentable, and then still cant manage to do the same at home.
