Every now and then we somehow manage to put together an outfit that makes us feel a million dollars. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular or exciting, but it just fills you with confidence and makes you stand a little taller for a day. This was one of those outfits...
Boohoo dress // Zara fantasy coat // Dorothy Perkins heels // ASOS bowler bag // Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses // Topshop necklace // Eclectic Eccentricity hand chain (c/o)
The Zara fantasy coat looks amazing with this blush coloured Boohoo dress - the colours really compliment each other - and I added the nude heels and lemon yellow bag to continue the pastel palette. I recieved the Lena diamond hand chain from the lovely ladies at Eclectic Eccentricity last week. It's unique and delicately pretty design has made it officially my favourite piece of jewellery! Eclectic Eccentricity have seriously outdone themselves with their geometrics range - I adore the Egyptian and 20's influences in the collection. I wore the Maya wrap bracelet here and the Cleopatra necklace is going to be my pay day treat!
On the subject of treats... I wore this outfit on my birthday when Gordon treated me to dinner at Cocoa in Aberdeen. The meal was absolutely delicious and we had a great night of food and chat. The cocktails and prosecco went down a treat too...
Monkfish wrapped in pancetta with parmesan risotto and pesto
Chargrilled sirloin and braised blade with butternut squash puree chips and jus
Assiette - Sticky toffee pudding, Raspberry pavlova, Brandy snap with lemon ice cream & Strawberry cheesecake
The service in Cocoa is always outstanding. Their staff are warm and welcoming and the food just never disappoints! I had originally wanted to eat at their sister restaurant Eat on the Green and was gutted when they were fully booked, but Cocoa more than made up for it. My final birthday celebration is a Hollywood themed house party this weekend - I can't wait!
Until then, ciao for now :)
