Did I mention I'm going on holiday? To New York?! I am officially counting down the days (4 sleeps, in case you're wondering!!) and am so freaking excited! My case is already packed. Well, the clothes anyway. Now the only outfit left to decide on is what to wear for the dreaded travelling part. Obviously I want something casual/comfy but I'm not one for tracksuits/hoodies/anything most people would consider comfy travelling clothes. In an effort to still look remotely stylish whilst on an 8 hour flight I'm thinking this might just do the trick...
Next blouse // Mary Katrantzou for Topshop leggings // H&M sandals // Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses // Urban Outfitters earrings // ASOS collar tips & rosary cross // Model's own dog ;)
It's a pretty relaxed outfit but the patterned Mary K leggings add a bit of jazz and the ASOS collar tips add a unique touch. They were another birthday present from my sister, she did good! I wore this exact outfit on Saturday for our picnic in the park and to the Viking thing in Cruden Bay (see photos below) - I'd probably go without the jewellery for flying and just keep it really simple.
The gala was to celebrate the battle of Cruden which I won't pretend I actually know anything about. It definitely involved vikings though, hence the reason a viking longship was burned. My photos turned out pretty crap but I managed to salvage the 2 above. Hope everyones week is going good so far - happy hump day!
