Had a fairly successful week as far as my diet goes but went completely downhill at the weekend. Between my nephew's 1st birthday BBQ, a friends beach themed birthday party and a Sunday evening movie marathon fueled by milky bar buttons and mini millionaire's shortcake... operation de-bloat is back to square one. It's not going to get any better as it's officially my birthweek! Which means lots of meals out and sweet treats :) The most exciting thing I've cooked all week was my first ever meatloaf. In keeping with the loaf theme, I rustled up a clean banana loaf today using this recipe.
Monday - Yoga class.
Tuesday - Kettlebells & Metafit. The sun was shining so the classes were held outside in the tennis courts - we need to do this more often!
Wednesday - Rest day.
Thursday - Insanity. My morning metafit class has been cancelled, I'm DEVASTATED! I do metafit at other times through the week but for some reason I've always enjoyed this one more. Maybe it's the early morning endorphin hit.
Friday - Metafit & weights.
Saturday - Kettlebells & Metafit.
Sunday - Rest day!
My knees have been a bit dodgy for a while now but are slowly getting worse. I don't know what the problem is - they're just a bit clicky and uncomfortable - but I'll be trying to give them a little more rest than usual over the next couple of weeks. We'll see how that goes! How's your week been?
