Roadtrip Part 1 - Be my little Rock & Roll Queen...

As promised here's the first post from our little roadtrip - this is what I wore for the 3-4 hour journey down to Glasgow. Seeing as we were spending the majority of the day in the car I went for a casual outfit with a little bit of grunge...

New Look jacket (sale) // Primark Guns'n'Roses tee // River Island boots & leather look jeans (old) // Marc by Marc Jacobs sunnies // Bracelets from New Look, Eclectic Eccentricity (c/o) & Dorothy Perkins // Next watch

I spend my working days in a shapeless navy uniform so I like to spend my days off more dressed up. This outfit is quite 'plain' for me but I like the rock feel to it and think I'll go for this easy look more often. It's still quite a smart outfit without being over the top or looking too 'put together'. I picked the jacket up in New Look's sale after lusting over (better quality) camo jackets. Seeing as I'm too impatient to order online and wait for delivery, I bought this one on impulse. It's not as perfect as the Urban Outfitters one I was drooling over but still achieves the same look I was aiming for! I'm contemplating ordering studs to add a slightly more luxe detail.

A special mention to the Maya wrap bracelet - it's from Eclectic Eccentricity's new Geometrics range! I have to admit it's not something I would of picked for myself but I'm actually really impressed with it. It fits in well with the whole arm candy trend and also comes in diamond and chevron shapes, with slightly different coloured metallic threads too. Have a look at the range if you haven't already - I've added a few items to my birthday wish list already!
