This July sees the first of North Hop's summer events in collaboration with the National Trust for Scotland. What could be better than wonderful Scottish food and drink, enjoyed in beautiful historic Scottish surroundings?
That's exactly what you'll find at Pitmedden Gardens in Aberdeenshire on the 20th and 21st July. The unmissable secret garden experience will celebrate local produce with plant based and wellness vibes. Think natural, handcrafted products, vegan treats and, in my opinion, best of all - yoga!

Food & Drink
Of course it wouldn't be North Hop without an incredible selection of food and drink to choose from. My top recommendations are a crisp G&T from The Teasmith and a classic Barra Berries ice cream - can you tell I'm hoping for sunshine?!
You'll also find Highland Boundary shaking up cocktails with their unique botanical spirits, while the North Hop bar keeps you refreshed with ice cold beers, cider and fizz. I'm dying to try Foodstory's vegan chilli nachos and if I still have room I'll be all over the shredded chicken noodles from The Saucy Horse. Burrito lovers will be pleased to know that Trusty Buck's will be rocking up at the gardens too!
Vegan Friendly
Speaking of vegan food, there's plenty options for your plant based pals throughout. Highlights will include Left Coast Culture's vegan cheese, mallow doughtnuts from Prissy Queen of Desserts, plus breads, cakes and pies from the Vegan Bay Baker and then there's Phudge - 100% organic, vegan chocolate spread. Discover these sweet treats and more in the Mad Hatter's Boozy Tea Tent!
Yoga
If you're not too full to function after all that, you can stretch it out and find some zen on the lawn with Third Eye Tribe. I've been practicing vinyasa flow yoga with Melissa for almost a year and highly recommend her classes! Sign up for a free class at the Third Eye stand - you can choose from the 1pm or 3pm session each day or a 20 minute guided meditation at 4pm. Classes are open level so suitable for beginners and seasoned yogis too. See you on the mat!
Tickets
Tickets for the Pitmedden Garden event are just £5 and can be booked online here in advance. Alternatively you can pay at the door on the day.
VIP Entry
If you fancy making your Secret Garden Experience extra special, get yourself a VIP ticket! For £14 your entry includes a guided tour of the garden followed by canapes and fizz/beer in the Thunderhouse. Head over to Dinner Stories Facebook page if you fancy a chance at winning some tickets!
