Wherever we are in the world, hunting out the best street food is one of our favourite things to do. London has no shortage of markets, from Spitalfields to Portobello there's something for everyone, but there are three in particular I'd recommend for foodies!
Street Feast Dinerama
First up, an indoor food market with a party vibe, Dinerama is part of the Street Feast group. It's free to enter the Shoreditch venue before 7pm and just £3 afterwards. We spent our Saturday evening working our way around the stands, sampling some incredible fried chicken steamed buns and delicious pork gyoza from Yumplings.
My favourite dishes were the unusual crab meat fries from Prawnography and You Doughnut's hot doughy bites smothered in malted milk chocolate sauce and malteaser crumble! The drinks offerings are just as impressive; Gordon got stuck into the craft beer from German Sex Dungeon and I sipped a couple of cocktails at the alpine themed bar upstairs!
Best for: A big night out!

Camden Market
Camden is one of London's best known markets and their foodie offerings are right up there. They've got Young Vegans with their pie and mash, Chin Chin Labs wacky liquid nitro ice cream, the Cereal Killer Café and my personal favourite Crosstown Doughnuts - try the peanut butter berry!
There's more to it than that though - the market is huge and there's plenty more authentic style street food too. We sampled a delicious massaman curry from a random Thai stall in the market and watched the world go by with a few drinks in a bar overlooking the canal. Top tip? Go with an empty belly!

Borough Market
A London institute, Borough market is one of the oldest in the city and is a food lover's dream. With an array of stalls from fishmongers to fresh fruit and veg, bakeries, spice shops, smoothie bars and specialist beer shops... I could go on.
Of course there is a street food section which I highly recommend checking out. The blend of aromas is unreal as you walk through and you'll want to try everything! My favourite thing to do is grab a coffee or Sri Lankan green tea from Organic Life with one of Bread Ahead's infamous doughnuts and take a stroll along southwalk from London bridge.
Best for: Stocking up on artisan goods!
